Yn Ionawr 2006, fe agorwyd drysau Meithrinfa Camau Cyntaf am y tro cyntaf, mewn cydweithrediad a Phartneriaeth Adfywio Amlwch. Yn dilyn geni’r fenter newydd, mae’r adeilad wedi ei adnewyddu a’i foderneiddio, er mwyn sicrhau gofal plant o’r safon uchaf, ac i gydymffurfio a deddfau yn ymwneud a gofal plant.

Mae Camau Cyntaf yn gyfleuster hanfodol yn y gymuned, gan gyflogi pymtheg o bobl leol, a gwasanaethu y bobl rheini sydd yn byw yn ardal Amlwch ac yn ddibynnol ar waith i gefnogi eu teuleuoedd. Mae’r Feithrinfa yn cynnig gofal plant o safon sy’n fforddadwy i bobl sy’n gwynebu anfanteision, ac fe wnaiff ddileu rhwystrau sydd y natal marched yn enwedig rhag cael mynediad i hyfforddiant, darganfod swyddi, ac fwy byth aros mewn cyflogaeth.

Fel Meithrinfa, ein nod yw datblygu plant yn ddwyieuthog a magu hyder a sgiliau yn barod am yr ysgol wrth sicrhau bod amgylchedd hapus a diogel yma pob amser. Y Feithrinfa yw’r unig gyfleuster o’i fath i gynnig gofal plant llawn amser i blant rhwng 3 mis a phedair oed yn y gymuned, yn ogystal a gwasanaeth i blant ar ôl ysgol hyd 8 mlwydd oed.

In January 2006, Meithrinfa Camau Cyntaf Nursery in conjunction with the Amlwch Regeneration Partnership opened its doors for the first time. Following the takeover, the building has undergone much refurbishment and modernisation in order to provide a high standard of childcare and to comply with childcare regulations.

Camau Cyntaf is an essential facility in the community employing fifteen local people and servicing the people residing in the Amlwch area that are reliant on work to support their families. The nursery offers a quality accessible and affordable childcare provision for people facing multiple disadvantages and will remove barriers that prevent women from accessing training or finding work and keeping jobs.

As a nursery, we aim to develop children to bilingual, confident and develop skills ready for when they start school. We will ensure that there is always a happy, safe friendly environment. The nursery is the only facility in the community providing full time childcare for children aged 3 months - 4 years, with further provision for after school children up to 8 years old.
